Credit cards are charged once an order has shipped (the charge
on your card will appear as SHOP CAROLINA INC). If a
check is used for payment, your order will be processed once
your check clears our bank.
What are the shipping costs:
Shipping is Free within the Continental United States on all orders totaling $59.00 or more.
That means that ALL of our Purple Martin Houses ship for
free. A shipping charge of $9.00 is added to any order less than $59.00.
What is the shipping time:
Lonestar, Heritage Farms, Heath houses and accessories
typically ship the same or next business day from our
distribution center in Missouri. S&K Nature House and Coates
items typically ship within 2-5 business days direct from
our suppliers in Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin. You
can always contact us at 800-881-3727 for the latest updates
on your order.
Ground transit time once your order ships is usually an additional 2-4 business days. We ship via UPS, DHL and FedEx Ground. Always provide a physical Ship To address (not a Post Office Box). We’re sorry – but we also cannot ship to APO Boxes.
Do you ship outside the continental US?
No, we only ship within the continental United States and free shipping is never offered to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Europe or elsewhere outside of the United States.
What is the status of my order?

Do you have a printed catalog?
Sorry, but no. We do not offer a printed catalog for several reasons. Our items are updated frequently and sales are offered often. Also, we promote a "green" environment and catalogs are environmentally unfriendly because they fill our landfills and destroy natural habitat.
Cancelled Orders:
Customers
may cancel any standard order at any time before it ships.
Special and custom orders can be cancelled within 24 hours at
no charge. Partial credit will be due under our Money
Back Guarantee if you refuse delivery
of an order after it ships.
Damaged,
Defective and Incorrect Items
If
you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we
will work to correct your order. We may be able to
provide necessary pieces and parts to correct an order or we
may arrange for items to be picked up by the shipper, provide
you with instructions for the pickup and provide delivery of
proper items at no additional cost to you.
If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item and you
decide you do not want us to correct your order and you no
longer wish to keep your order, you may return the item under
our Return Policy and Procedure.

defective or incorrect - restocking fees will not be withheld

item can be returned for any reason within 30 days of delivery
for a refund subject to the terms and conditions of our Return
Policy below.

strive to be honest and fair and invite you to compare our

Purplemartinhouse.com, if you return an item we shipped to you
for free, we do
not deduct outgoing shipping costs from your
credit. It is our way of standing behind our products
and because this is a cost often imposed by other web sites,
it is a potential benefit to you. We
do subtract outgoing shipping costs if those costs were not
provided for free and we do subtract a restocking fee of 20%
of the sale price on all items accepted for return to
inventory. This helps to offset the expense of
inspection, processing and fees imposed by suppliers.
Return
Policy and Procedure

us by telephone or email prior to your return and and we will
provide you with a Return Authorization Number and a
return shipping address (some items may return direct to the
manufacturer). It's always a good idea to insure the
return for its full value against loss or damage - this is
usually not expensive.

This helps us to keep an eye on things and to properly credit
your return.
To
qualify for a refund, returned items
must be received in original, re-usable packaging and be in
original, new and re-stockable condition. Once
your return is received, inspected and accepted, we will let
you know and duly credit the card used to make your purchase
less applicable restocking charges.
Special
and custom orders do not qualify for refunds.
Items not returned in original, new and re-stockable
condition do not qualify for a refund. Items returned
without a Return Authorization also do not qualify for
a refund. Items
returned that do not qualify for a refund will be held for up
to 10 days pending your instructions to donate the item to a
thrift charity, destroy or return-to-you (at your expense).
Exchange Policy
Exchanges
can be made under our Return Procedure.
You can order the new item you wish through our website and we
will provide credit for your old item once it has been
returned and accepted. Or, you can return your old item
for credit first and then order your new item. A
restocking fee of 20% will be withheld on all returns accepted
for exchange.
Refused
Deliveries and Incorrect Addresses
Please check the delivery address of your order
carefully. If delivery cannot be completed or if
delivery of a purchased item is refused, credit will be
limited to 80% of the purchase price.
